Trust who a person is when you can’t do anything for them!!!

6/22 Edited to

... Read moreTrust is a complex and vital part of any relationship, especially when you find yourself in a position where you can’t offer help or make a difference in someone's life. From personal experience, the true measure of trust comes not from what someone can do for you, but who they are when no favors or assistance are involved. I've often observed that many relationships drift when support is conditional—when one party only sticks around because they benefit in some way. Real trust, however, stands firm even when you are powerless to change circumstances or offer aid. It’s about accepting people authentically, without expectation or obligation. This approach leads to healthier connections built on genuine respect and understanding. Reflecting on common wisdom such as “Your normal day is someone’s dream” reminds us to appreciate our lives and be grateful. Similarly, recognizing that “sometimes the grass is greener because it’s fake” teaches us to see beneath appearances and value authenticity above all. Keeping a small circle and a low-key life can help maintain a peaceful mind, as the OCR content suggests. I’ve found that surrounding myself with a few trusted individuals, rather than many acquaintances, fosters deeper trust and meaningful growth. It’s comforting to know that these few people are there for you regardless of your ability to support them in return. Lastly, it’s important not to take silence or distance personally. Sometimes, people aren’t speaking because they need to process things, like needing to offer an apology or resolve an issue internally. Practicing patience and understanding during these moments reinforces trust even further. In essence, trust who a person is, beyond what they can do for you. This mindset not only nurtures stronger bonds but also promotes personal growth and emotional balance.

A handwritten note on a lined notebook page titled 'DISCERNMENT.' It defines discernment as understanding good/evil and thinking like God, lists Bible verses (Psalm 119:125, Acts 17:11), and explains how to receive it through prayer, Scripture, obedience, and removing judgment. It also provides biblical examples from John, Romans, and Hebrews.
Discernment: Learning to Trust God’s Whisper✨
Discernment isn’t about being suspicious or judgmental, it’s about being aligned. It’s the quiet wisdom God gives us to recognize what’s from Him and what isn’t, even when everything looks good on the surface. Sometimes discernment doesn’t come with loud alarms; it comes as a gentle nudge, a pause
