Lastly, the softness and texture of clothes can be incredibly appealing. It's like a giant, plush bed custom-made for their napping pleasure. And speaking of my orange cat with those striking amber eyes, I've noticed a distinct personality trait that often comes with the ginger fur. Orange cats, while definitely not a monolith, are often stereotyped (affectionately!) as being incredibly affectionate, a bit goofy, and sometimes, well, a little less concerned with boundaries – like personal space or, you know, my laundry. This playful, sometimes cheeky, demeanor is probably why “excuse me sir cat” resonates so much with owners of these charismatic felines. They truly act like they own the place, and our laundry is no exception! So, what's a cat parent to do when faced with a furry laundry thief? Avoid harsh chemicals or anything that could be toxic if they ingest it from licking their fur after lounging on your clothes.
