How to spend the perfect day exploring Uptown San Diego ☀️🚌❤️
There’s no shortage of things to do in San Diego, but my favorite way to explore is by picking a neighborhood and seeing where the day takes me. South Park 🥖, North Park 💐, Hillcrest 🌈… each one is filled with local gems—breweries, farmers’ markets, thrift stores, amazing food, and many small amazing businesses.
The only downside is that parking can be a huge headache sometimes 😮💨. That’s why I’ve been hopping on @SD MTS bus service instead. It’s affordable, easy, and way less stressful than circling for a spot or paying for rideshares.
Start in South Park, then take MTS Route 2🚏(just $2.50) straight into North Park, especially along 30th Street where there’s always something going on. Your fare includes two hours of FREE transfers, which is so convenient 🙌🏼. I also recommend going to Hillcrest! Just transfer to Route 10 to keep the day going.
With buses running right through these neighborhoods and tap-to-pay onboard, it’s the simplest way to explore Uptown San Diego 🚍💛.
