💭 You Can’t Heal a Lie
Let’s talk truth — literally.
In behavioral health, we often say: you can’t heal what you won’t face.
Because healing doesn’t start with change — it starts with honesty.
You can’t heal pretending you’re okay.
You can’t heal minimizing what broke you.
You can’t heal defending what’s destroying you.
And you definitely can’t heal lying to yourself about how deep the wound really goes.
Denial protects you temporarily, but it imprisons you permanently.
When you hide pain, you teach your body and mind to perform wellness instead of practicing it.
That’s why people look “put together” but still feel miserable inside — their truth is trapped under performance.
Here’s the behavioral truth:
Your brain cannot release what it refuses to acknowledge.
Honesty rewires the nervous system because it brings your body back into safety and congruence.
Truth-telling isn’t about shame — it’s about alignment.
So if you’re ready to heal, start with this:
Tell the truth — even if it’s just to yourself and God.
Because truth breaks denial, and denial blocks deliverance.
Scripture of the Day:
“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” — John 8:32
Reminder:
Healing isn’t about perfection.
It’s about permission — to finally be honest with what’s real.
