Review of The Conjuring: Last Rites The Ghost Caller The Last Rite

It's a mellow conclusion, not as scary or haunting as the previous installments.

This installment is back in the hands of Michael Chaves, a director who has done both The Nun II and The Devil Made Me Do It, and of course has James Wan on hand to oversee the production work. What the movie does well and clearly sees is trying to revert to the first two-part hallucinations. The overall atmosphere is full of awkwardness and paranoia, alternating with family scenes, alternating throughout the story like a roller coaster, and feeling a very long pave in the beginning.

This running of the story alternates between the Warren family and the Smurl house being deceived by spirits from ghosts and demons marking the beginning and end of this story, which allows for both family drama and horror events to be seen alongside each other, the point of interest is that the movie focuses more on Edward and Lauren's daughter Judy, who is considered a key moderator in this installment.

What I really like is that the movie dares to tell the "laying on of hands" of two Warren wives who don't want to take the case anymore, but are finally forced to face the situation, like everything has been defined since the beginning. Playing with the dark and the old house, Jump Scare is still working well, but the ghosts and demons in this part aren't as scary as the previous ones, but it's fierce, and there's a demon that says it's the tension in this Val, and the scene has gone full, not the main part of it.

The point of little regret is that during the Kyle Max, the movie was like giving weight to the paranormal thing, not seeing the demon clearly, but still considering that the peak scene of the last movie really worked, really winning, really helping the characters, but the most impressive thing was seeing all the actors back to see almost everyone's face. This was a surprise.

And of course, Vera Farmiga's performance as Lauren is the main heart, the mother. Standing one really performs so well that we seem to be standing next to her. Patrick Wilson, in Ed, despite his lesser role, played a big part in closing the finale.

Overall, The Conjuring: Last Rites is an installment that serves as a satisfying "epilogue." Although it is not as complete in its early horrors, the return of form and the ending to fans is not disappointed. It closes a legend that is both horrible, warm, and still leaves Gimmick for the franchise to branch further.
