9-Day Drive to East Hokkaido, 40K Statement, Root Chill, No Focus on Tour 🚗❄️
This trip we went to in early March, it was still cold, there was snow in many cities, but not many people, so it was a more comfortable time to travel. ☁️
We choose to fly with China Airlines because when we find a ticket, the price is better than other airlines. We have a Full Service, a 23kg bag load + a 7kg flight, including a ticket. The flight to Taiwan is about 1.5 hours. It's easier to walk per gate than you think. The machine is relatively new, the seat is wide, the food is okay. The return leg waits a little longer, but overall it feels worth the price. ✈️
First with the last day of the trip, we took a train trip in Sapporo with Otaru and then rented a car drive out of town for about 5 days. 🚗
We rented with Nippon Rent a Car through Trip.com because we wanted to go chill, not rush, change the city every day, focus on driving, watching, stopping by the wayside and relaxing rather than collecting landmarks.
The main root of the trip will be Furano / Biei / Kushiro and the small town of East Hokkaido, which is a great favorite part because the view on the way is beautiful throughout. Drive and enjoy. I want to take pictures straight. 🥹
In fact, the plan has many famous spots in common, but in the end, we choose to drive around the city, stop by nature, and avoid a lot of downward tours, so it becomes a trip to see Hokkaido, another very quiet, calm and warm corner. ☁️
The more impressive cities are Kitami and Teshikaga, small towns with almost no tourists, but the atmosphere is great. Along the way, there are mountains, lakes, snow and long roads that have always been liked.
Lake Mashu is a place that almost doesn't stop. Because the other day we've always seen overcast blue. I can't take the lake. Finally, I decided to drive to Lake Mashu before returning to Sapporo. The day was sunny. The view of the blue lake was so beautiful that it became one of the favorite views of the whole trip. ☀️💙
The favorite thing about this trip is not just the destination, but more views and stories on the way (I met a lot of mountain deer). 🦌❄️
