Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 set to launch soon
📰 Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 is set to launch this July 22! New-look, thinner-than-before folding screen with smarter Galaxy AI.
Samsung officially announced the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22, 2026 in London, England, with the "A New Shape Unfolds" sprinkling, causing many parties to expect the Galaxy Z Fold 8 to be the biggest design-changing smartphone in years.
According to the data coming out, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to come with a new 7.6 "inner screen, a new 4: 3 ratio, which is wider than before, making it more tablet-like. The outer screen is about 5.4 inches, supporting a 120Hz refresh with Dynamic AMOLED LTPO technology that provides fluid and energy-efficient images.
On the performance side, it is expected to use Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chips for Galaxy, match up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage, support Galaxy AI and S Pen to enhance AI functionality and usability more conveniently.
Another highlight that many people have been waiting for is a thinner and lighter body, with reports that the thickness of the spread may be about 4.3 mm and that when folded about 9.8 mm, the weight is about 220 grams, making it more convenient to carry.
The camera and battery sections are also based on rumors, with a 50MP main camera expected with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 45W sensitive charging, but all details have to wait for Samsung's official announcement on launch day.
If all the data is true, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is likely to be a major upgrade - in design, thinness, performance and AI capabilities - that could heat up competition in the folding screen smartphone market again.
📌 However, several parts of the specification data in the image and details are also rumours and information coming off, until it is officially released at the July 22, 2026 Galaxy Unpacked event.
