AirPods 4 unboxing✨

Finally the AirPods 4 are here! It’s been a while since the AirPods 3 were released.

There are two options: AirPods 4 and AirPods 4 with Adaptive Noise Cancellation. I got the one with the ANC feature.

The new charging case is noticeably slimmer. Some of my friends complained that it’s now harder to take the AirPods out of the case, but I quickly got used to it😁

The white box, sleek and minimalist as always from Apple, immediately showed an image of the two white earbuds inside, hinting at the tech magic within. Pulling off the lid, I found the familiar, neatly packaged contents. Beyond the open charging case with the earbuds nestled snugly inside, there was also a quick start guide and a USB-C to Lightning cable – everything you need to get going right away. It's always satisfying to get a fresh piece of tech like this! The first thing I noticed after getting past the initial excitement was how much sleeker the new charging case truly is. Holding it in my hands, it felt noticeably thinner and lighter than my previous AirPods case. I remember seeing images of it, but experiencing it firsthand is different. As the original post mentioned, some friends found it a bit trickier to remove the AirPods themselves from this new design. At first, my hands had to adjust, but honestly, after a couple of tries, it became second nature. It feels more secure, almost like they're less likely to accidentally pop out. This improved slimness makes it even more pocket-friendly, which is a huge plus for me. Setting them up was, as expected with Apple products, a breeze. Just open the case near my iPhone, tap connect, and boom – ready to go. The sound quality on first listen was crisp and clear, exactly what I’ve come to expect from Apple. Vocals were distinct, and the bass had a nice, subtle punch without being overpowering. They also felt incredibly comfortable in my ears right from the start, which is a big deal for me as I wear earbuds for extended periods. But what I was really eager to try was the Adaptive Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature. I grabbed the model with ANC specifically for this, and it did not disappoint. Even in a moderately noisy environment – like the hum of my air conditioner or street traffic outside – the ANC immediately created a noticeable hush, allowing me to focus entirely on my music or podcast. It's not just about blocking out sound; it's about creating a more immersive listening experience, making my commute or study sessions much more peaceful. Considering the price of $179 (as seen on the box!), I feel like you're getting a lot of upgraded features for the value, especially with the significant addition of ANC. This isn't just a minor refresh; it feels like a significant jump in functionality and user experience. The enhanced audio, coupled with the impressive noise cancellation, truly elevates the everyday listening experience. Whether you’re commuting, working out, or just chilling at home, these earbuds are designed to deliver. My initial thoughts are overwhelmingly positive. If you're looking for an upgrade or contemplating your first pair of premium wireless earbuds, the AirPods 4, especially the ANC version, genuinely stands out. It blends seamless connectivity with impressive audio and crucial features like adaptive noise cancellation, all in a more refined and portable package. It's definitely a tech essential that lives up to the hype, and I can't wait to explore them more!
