Antes me daba pena.
Ahora también…
pero ya no me detiene.🌷
I used to feel shy and embarrassed about being seen or speaking in front of others, which held me back for a long time. Like many, I believed that the discomfort meant I wasn’t ready or good enough, so I avoided situations that triggered those feelings. However, I realized that waiting for perfect confidence would only keep me stuck. The turning point came when I decided to try the very things that scared me the most, such as getting on stage and recording myself in public. At first, it was incredibly uncomfortable—I felt watched, awkward, and even wanted to quit. But I kept going, focusing less on others' opinions and more on my own desires. Gradually, the power of shyness diminished. I learned that shyness doesn’t completely disappear; instead, it loses control over me when I take action despite the fear. This experience taught me an important lesson: courage is not the absence of fear but the decision to move forward in spite of it. Each time I confronted my shyness, I became a person I never dared to be before—more confident, authentic, and resilient. Today, even when shy feelings arise, they no longer stop me from pursuing my goals or expressing myself. If you struggle with shyness, try small steps like speaking up in a safe environment or recording yourself to build comfort. Remember that growth comes from consistent effort and self-compassion. Embrace your fears as signs of growth rather than barriers, and celebrate every attempt to move beyond them. Over time, you'll find that what once held you back becomes a source of strength and inspiration.
