This is my book review. Just not the last one I am currently reading it now!
The favorite girl is one of the most insane book. I read this year, when I tell you it had me in a chokehold starts to finish. I promise you I am not lying.. it has a little bit of everything. I do not want to spoil the book so go ahead and go read it. Come back and tell me what you think.
Don’t believe him also a really good book. It’s more of a slow burn type of book but I promise you, you won’t regret it. It will have you questioning what it’s going to happen next.!
I love thrillers and suspense !! ⭐️Overall rating: /5:

... Read moreOkay, let's chat more about Monica Arya, because if you're like me, once you dive into one of her thrillers, you're absolutely hooked! I wanted to expand a bit on what makes her writing so captivating, especially for those of us who live for suspense and unexpected twists.
When I said 'The Favorite Girl' had me in a chokehold, I wasn't exaggerating. What I truly loved about it was how Arya masterfully crafts these characters that feel so real, yet carry such dark secrets. You think you know what's happening, and then BAM! She pulls the rug out from under you. It’s not just about the plot twists; it’s about the psychological depth. The way she explores obsession, betrayal, and the hidden lives people lead is just phenomenal. If you’re looking for a book that will genuinely keep you guessing and checking over your shoulder, this one is it. I devoured it in almost one sitting because I simply had to know what would happen next. The pacing is relentless, and the ending… oh boy, the ending will leave you thinking about it for days. It totally earned its five-star rating in my book!
Then there's 'Don't Believe Him,' which I mentioned is more of a slow burn, but equally rewarding. Sometimes you want that instant gratification, but with this one, Arya builds the tension so subtly, thread by thread, until you realize you're completely entangled. It's a different kind of suspense, one that gets under your skin rather than hitting you with constant shocks. The psychological games and unreliable narrators are strong here, making you question every single character's motive and truth. It delves into themes of trust and deception in a way that feels incredibly unsettling and realistic. It’s the kind of book where you’re constantly re-evaluating everything you thought you knew, and that slow, creeping dread is just chef's kiss for a thriller fan. While 'The Favorite Girl' was a sprint, 'Don't Believe Him' is a marathon of suspense, and it’s just as satisfying when you reach that explosive finish. No wonder it got a solid four stars!
And speaking of Monica Arya, I’m beyond excited for her next one, 'Shades Of Her,' which I’ve got lined up. Just from the title, I’m anticipating another deep dive into complex female characters and possibly some dark secrets unraveling. If her previous works are anything to go by, 'Shades Of Her' will likely push boundaries and keep us on the edge of our seats with its intricate plotting and compelling mystery. That's the beauty of discovering an author whose style just clicks with you – you know you're in for a treat every time.
If you're a fan of domestic thrillers, psychological suspense, or just love a good mystery with plenty of twists, Monica Arya is an author you absolutely need on your radar. Her ability to craft compelling narratives with deeply flawed yet relatable characters is what truly sets her apart. I’d love to hear if you’ve read any of her books or if you have other thriller recommendations that give you the same kind of adrenaline rush!
