Are you an empath?
When you are an empath it can be overwhelming. Maybe you have felt fine one moment and then the next you feel slimed?
As an empty we tend to be sponge to others energy. Subconsciously our body is trying to help and gel but we can’t heal what isn’t ours.
The good thing is we can learn how not to do this and to control it. The main thing is first understanding what your energy feels like then saying no and sending back the energy with love to whom it belongs too.
I love teaching others how to control and guide their intuition. Send me a message if interested.
Being an empath means you have a heightened sensitivity to the emotions and energies around you, which can often feel overwhelming. Many empaths experience sudden mood shifts or emotional overload, sometimes describing it as feeling 'slimed' by others’ feelings. This happens because empaths tend to absorb and mirror the energy of people nearby, even subconsciously, as a way to empathize or support them. One of the most powerful skills an empath can develop is learning to distinguish their own energy from that of others. Understanding this boundary is essential for emotional well-being. Initially, it might feel difficult to separate yourself from others' emotions, but with practice, you can become more aware of what you naturally feel inside versus what you might be picking up from your environment. A helpful technique often shared by empathic communities involves mentally acknowledging your personal energy first — this acts like a 'calibration' of your emotional state. Once you recognize your baseline, you can identify when alien energies intrude. Saying 'no' to absorbing unwanted energy doesn't mean shutting down your empathy; it means consciously choosing what you allow in. Imagine sending the intrusive energy back to its origin with love and compassion — this protects your emotional space without negative backlash. In my experience, grounding practices such as spending time in nature, deep breathing, and mindful meditation are invaluable. These help stabilize your own energy and create a buffer against overwhelming emotional inputs. Intuition also plays a big role in managing empathic sensitivity. By paying attention to subtle bodily sensations and gut feelings, you can learn when you are being influenced externally and when you are responding authentically from within. If you’re looking to deepen your understanding and control over your empathic abilities, consider joining workshops or seeking guidance from experienced teachers who specialize in spiritual and psychic development. This journey can transform what might feel like a burden into a profound gift, connecting you more deeply with yourself and the world around you.
