Love A Good Breakfast!🫶🤌
I normally don’t eat breakfast but I was in the mood for some this morning!!! I made cheesy eggs, bacon, yogurt parfait, and had some blackberries. The drink I had with that is a pineapple fizz which is a way better energy alternative than coffee and an energy drink but still tastes amazing!!! If you would like to know more about it just comment or dm me!!!!!
Have An Amazing Day!!!🩷

Have you ever woken up not wanting breakfast, only to find yourself starving an hour later? Or maybe you eat out of habit, not hunger? That's where intuitive eating for breakfast can be a game-changer! It's all about tuning into your body's signals and giving it what it truly needs and desires, without strict rules or guilt. For me, some mornings I crave something light, and other days, like the one that inspired this post, I need a hearty, satisfying meal to kickstart my day. That morning, my body was asking for something substantial, and I honored it with a delicious spread featuring fluffy cheesy eggs, crispy bacon, a refreshing yogurt parfait loaded with fresh blackberries, and a vibrant pineapple fizz. This isn't just a random meal; it's a perfect example of intuitive eating in action – combining satisfaction with balanced nutrients. So, how can you practice intuitive eating at your breakfast table? 1. Tune into Your Hunger Cues: Before you even think about what to eat, ask yourself: Am I truly hungry? What level of hunger am I experiencing? Sometimes we eat out of boredom, stress, or habit. Learning to distinguish true hunger from other triggers is the first step. 2. Honor Your Cravings (and Get Creative!): If you're craving something specific, like the savory goodness of cheesy eggs, go for it! Intuitive eating isn’t about denying yourself. It's about finding a way to honor that craving in a way that also feels good for your body. For instance, pairing those rich eggs with some fresh fruit like juicy blackberries and a protein-packed yogurt parfait helps create a well-rounded meal. 3. Focus on Satisfaction: After you've eaten, check in with yourself. Do you feel satisfied, energized, and nourished? Or do you feel overly full, sluggish, or still craving something? The goal is to eat until you feel comfortably full and content. My breakfast with the cheesy eggs, bacon, and parfait hit all the right notes for lasting satisfaction. 4. Balance for Sustained Energy: While intuitive eating isn't about calorie counting, it naturally encourages balance. A breakfast that includes protein (like eggs and bacon), healthy fats (from cheese and yogurt), and complex carbohydrates (from granola in the parfait and fruit) will keep you energized and full for longer. And don't forget hydration! My pineapple fizz is a fantastic, natural energy boost that helps me skip the coffee jitters and feel refreshed. It’s amazing how a simple, tasty drink can make such a difference! 5. Ditch the Food Rules: Forget what diet culture tells you about "good" or "bad" breakfast foods. If your body is craving a pancake, enjoy a pancake mindfully. If it's asking for a hearty bowl of oatmeal, embrace it. The beauty of intuitive eating is that every meal becomes an opportunity to connect with your body and nourish it with kindness. Embracing intuitive eating for breakfast has truly transformed my mornings. It's not just about the food; it's about building a healthier, more trusting relationship with my body. So next time you wake up, listen closely to what your body is telling you, and create a breakfast that truly makes you feel amazing inside and out!
