struggling to know who the Holy Spirit is? 🕊️

are you struggling to understand who the Holy Spirit even is? i got you, my friend! the verses above are for YOU to help your curiosity seek clarity! Hebrews 4:12 says the Bible is “active” and “alive.” therefore, these verses are LIVING words that hold truth and power!

𝗟𝗘𝗧’𝗦 𝗚𝗘𝗧 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗢 𝗜𝗧! ⬇️

Common to misconception the Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost as some people refer to Him is actually a “who,” NOT a “what” or an “it”.

When we look at the trinity that is God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I sometimes feel like the Holy Spirit is neglected a little bit and sometimes overlooked. But the Holy Spirit is just as important as Father God and Jesus in the trinity! “Okay yeah, we know the Holy Spirit exists but who exactly is He?”

The second slide above describes who the Holy Spirit is along with TRUTH about the Holy Spirit that you can find within Scripture in the Bible. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth! The Word and the Holy Spirit are inseparable! They work together!

So you don’t have to wait for the next podcast, post, or Bible study meeting to encounter this power & truth! He wants to enlighten our hearts and reveal Jesus to us!

The actual existence of the Holy Spirit has been around since the beginning of time! And one thing about the Holy Spirit is that you can always ask and you can always have more of Him! He loves you! 🤍

He wouldn’t be inside you if He didn’t love you! The Holy Spirit wants you to get to know Him - to be His BFF! So invite Him in! He can literally be you 911 and you can say “Holy Spirit help!” Because the Spirit of God is a teacher and a counselor. I mean, Jesus needed the Holy Spirit to do His ministry, so how can we think that we don’t need Him to get through our lives?

I encourage you to lean on the Holy Spirit for God gave you Him as a gift, as a way to always feel close to Him always.

Fun Fact: We’re closer to God than even the disciples of Jesus were when they walked this earth! And they were 12 men that changed the course of history! 😱

But they were also just 12 regular men that most people wouldn’t have chosen. But Jesus did, and you know what? They did change the world. But even then, they didn’t have access to God’s Spirit until after Jesus resurrected and ascended into Heaven.

You’ll see in the Old Testament a lot of time sacrifices were made in very specific sacred places in order to feel God. Well now, that power isn’t something we have to earn or sacrifice for, but it’s a gift you have unrestricted access to call on whenever you want! 🥰

... Read moreThe Holy Spirit is often described as the neglected member of the Trinity, yet His role is vital and transformative. As a person, He is not merely an influence but a distinct individual with whom believers can have a personal relationship. Many believers experience confusion about His identity and function; thus, understanding who the Holy Spirit is becomes paramount for spiritual growth. Inspired by verses like John 14:26, which calls the Holy Spirit our Advocate, we can see that He guides, teaches, and comforts us. He helps us navigate life's challenges, providing wisdom and insight. This divine presence equips us to bear spiritual fruits, ensuring we reflect Christ's character in our daily interactions. In John 16:13, we learn that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. He does not just convey knowledge but also convicts us of sin and leads us towards righteousness. Therefore, developing an intimate relationship with Him through prayer and meditation on Scripture opens avenues for deeper understanding and authenticity in faith. Engaging with the Holy Spirit can transform our prayers, allowing us to communicate more effectively with God. His closeness is a reminder that we are never alone; even in our struggles and doubts, He is there urging us to deepen our understanding. Contrary to fears that may arise about yielding to the Holy Spirit, His presence is one of love, peace, and joy. So, why is it essential to know the Holy Spirit? It’s because He is God’s gift to us, enabling access to His power and presence. Make it a priority to invite Him into your daily life and see how He can impact your spiritual journey, revealing truths and guiding you on the path of righteousness.
