If you're into anime and JJK, specifically, there's a whole world of possibilities to explore beyond the basic fan art. Here are some of my go-to drawing style ideas that have helped me break through creative blocks and add more flair to my anime and JJK sketches: 1. Experiment with Line Weight and Quality: Don't just stick to a uniform line! Try varying your line weight to create depth and emphasis. Thicker lines can be used for foreground elements or to outline important features, while thinner lines work well for details or areas further back. You can also experiment with sketchy, expressive lines versus clean, confident strokes. Think about how manga artists use dynamic lines to convey motion and emotion – applying this to your JJK character sketches can make them feel incredibly alive. 2. Dive into Different Shading Techniques: Beyond simple cell shading, consider exploring cross-hatching, stippling, or even soft, painterly shading. For JJK characters, their intense expressions and dynamic poses often benefit from dramatic lighting. Try adding sharp, angular shadows to enhance their seriousness or use softer gradients for a more ethereal feel.
