•Coconut Oil; organic&refined ~ Perfect for taking off eye makeup or applying it over dry patchy skin areas. I also apply this over my cuticle because I’m prone to very dry cuticles.
•Renew Intensive Skin Therapy Lotion; Melaleuca ~ I wanna say I’ve been using this product since high school. It’s always my go to. When I try other brands, the moisture doesn’t lock in long enough and I’m always more dry. BUT THIS!! THIS does MORE. it delivers long-lasting relief from dry, rough or irritated skin AND leaves skin softer and healthier! ❤️❤️
•Trentinoin 0.05% cream; prescription ~ I occasionally have hormonal adult acne/zits and THIS has made a difference and improved my skin so much! I started off with 0.025% and now I’m up the next dose. Consult with your doctor before using. I only use this as a spot treatment throughout my body when something pops up. It’s fantastic!!

... Read moreIt's amazing how a consistent body care routine can truly transform not just your skin, but your confidence too! Like many of you, I've spent years figuring out what truly works for my skin, and what I’ve learned is that everyday hygiene isn't just about getting clean; it's about nurturing your skin from head to toe. If you're looking to elevate your daily routine and understand the 'why' behind choosing the best body care products, you're in the right place.
First, let's talk about cleansing. A good body wash or soap is the foundation of everyday hygiene. While I swear by my hydrating bar soap, the key is to find something gentle that cleanses without stripping your skin. Products like the Dove cool moisture bar, for instance, are fantastic because they contain moisturizing cream, ensuring your skin feels fresh and clean without any tightness or dryness. Always look for cleansers that support your skin's natural barrier, especially if you shower daily.
Next up is exfoliation, a step often overlooked but crucial for radiant skin. My trusty Eco Tools round brush helps me scrub away dead skin cells, which is essential for smoother skin and even tone, especially in areas prone to darkness. But beyond physical exfoliation, there are also chemical exfoliants (like those with AHAs or BHAs) that can gently dissolve dead skin cells without scrubbing. Depending on your skin's sensitivity, you might incorporate this 1-3 times a week. Regular exfoliation not only reveals brighter skin but also helps your moisturizers penetrate more effectively.
Speaking of moisturizers, this is where the magic truly happens for preventing dryness and keeping your skin supple. After cleansing and exfoliating, applying a good lotion or cream while your skin is still slightly damp locks in that much-needed moisture. I’ve been a long-time fan of the Renew Intensive Skin Therapy Lotion because it delivers long-lasting relief from dryness. It's not just about feeling good in the moment; consistent moisturization supports your skin's barrier function, protecting it from environmental stressors. For targeted areas like dry cuticles or stubborn dry patches, I find organic coconut oil to be a lifesaver. It’s also surprisingly effective for gently removing eye makeup!
Finally, addressing specific concerns can really round out your body care routine. For instance, if you experience hormonal body acne like I sometimes do, a targeted treatment can make a huge difference. While a prescription cream like Tretinoin (the 0.05% strength I use) is something to discuss with your doctor, incorporating clarifying body washes with ingredients like salicylic acid can also help keep breakouts at bay. Remember, every skin is unique, so listening to what your body needs is paramount.
Building your perfect set of Body Care Products for everyday hygiene is a journey of discovery. Start with gentle cleansing, add regular but not over-exfoliation, commit to daily moisturization, and address any specific concerns with targeted care. This thoughtful approach ensures your skin isn't just clean, but truly healthy, hydrated, and happy every single day. Give your skin the love and attention it deserves!
