Part 2 of hair styles for curly hair ➰🤏🏽💓
Hey curlfriends! I've been on a mission lately to find the cutest and easiest curly hairstyles, and I just had to share some of my absolute favs with you all. ✨ If you're anything like me, you know the struggle (and the joy!) of styling curly hair. Sometimes you want something quick, sometimes you want to look super put-together, and sometimes you just need some fresh inspo for those 'curly hair don't care' days. Good news – I've got you covered! First up, let's talk about the ultimate classic: Half-Up, Half-Down Curly Hairstyles. This look is a lifesaver for me, especially when my curls are looking good but I want to keep some hair out of my face. I love how versatile it is! You can do a simple half-up ponytail, or get a bit fancier by adding a small braid or two at the front, pulling them back into a cute half-up bun. I’ve seen this style look amazing on long curly hair, giving you that perfect balance of elegance and bounce. Sometimes I even take a section from the crown and twist it into a mini bun, securing it with a cute scrunchie or a small hair tie. It’s perfect for both casual outings and when you want to feel a little more dressed up! Then there's the magic of Braids for Curly Hair. Oh my gosh, where do I even begin? Braids can transform your look in seconds! I'm obsessed with those small braids framing the face; they add such a sweet, whimsical touch. You can do two tiny braids right at the front, or even incorporate them into a larger style. For longer curly hair, I often try pulling back two larger braids from the front, creating a beautiful pulled-back look that keeps my curls from getting too wild. And for something really unique, I've been experimenting with integrating smaller braids throughout my hair, especially when I'm aiming for a more intricate updo. If you're feeling adventurous, cornrows can also be incredible, especially when they transition into your voluminous loose curls – it's such a statement! Speaking of updos, sometimes you just need to get all that beautiful hair up and out of the way. Chic Curly Updos are not just for special occasions! A high top bun is my go-to for a quick, effortless look that still feels stylish. You can make it messy or sleek, depending on your vibe. For a more playful twist, I adore Pigtails with a Bow. Seriously, adding a red bow or any cute accessory instantly elevates the look and makes it so much fun. And don't forget the power of well-styled baby hairs! Laying those edges can really complete any curly hairstyle, giving it that polished, intentional finish. Now, for some DIY Curly Hair Hacks I've picked up along the way. If you have 3b curly hair or similar textures, you know how important moisture is. Always start with well-moisturized hair for styling to reduce frizz. For those quick 'curly hair inspo pics' moments, a bit of gel or edge control is your best friend for baby hairs. And if you have slightly shorter curly hair, don't think updos are out of reach! A cute, messy curly updo can still be achieved by gathering sections and pinning them creatively. It’s all about experimenting and finding what works for your unique curls. Remember, your curls are gorgeous, and there are endless ways to express yourself through them. Don't be afraid to try out these half-up, braided, or updo styles. Share your own Lemon8 hairstyles with me – I’d love to see them! Happy styling, curlfriends!
