「バイロンベイコーヒー大門店」は、浜松町〜大門エリアで“サクッと美味しいコーヒーが飲みたい”時にちょうどいいお店でした。ビジネス街にあるので混み合う時間帯もありますが、店内の雰囲気が落ち着いていて、短時間でもほっと一息つけます。 私が特に好きだったのはアイスコーヒー。苦味が強すぎず、香りがやさしいタイプで、後味がスッキリしていました。甘い焼き菓子と合わせても口の中が重くならず、仕事前や移動の合間にも飲みやすい印象です。アイスラテもミルク感がしっかりありつつ重たくなく、コーヒーが強すぎるラテが苦手な人にも合いそうだなと思いました。 焼き菓子はどれもコーヒーに合うラインナップで、選ぶ時間も楽しかったです。チョコチップクッキーは、しっとり寄りで甘さはやや強め。だからこそ、アイスコーヒーの軽やかさと相性がよくて、交互に食べるとちょうど良いバランスでした。 バナナブレッドは、プレーンとウォルナッツがあるのが嬉しいポイント。私はプレーンを選びましたが、温めてもらうと香りが立って、もっちり食感がより引き立ちます。バナナの自然な甘みが広がって、デザート感はあるのにくどくないのが良かったです。次回行くならウォルナッツも試して食感の違いを比べたい…と思いました。 あと地味に助かるのが、朝早くから営業しているところ。出社前のコーヒーにも使いやすいです。さらに店内ペット可なので、タイミングが合えば愛犬と一緒に立ち寄れるのも魅力。大門周辺で「バイロンベイコーヒー」と検索して来る人は、コーヒーの味だけでなく“焼き菓子も一緒に楽しめるか”も気になると思うので、アイスコーヒー／アイスラテとバナナブレッド、チョコチップクッキーの組み合わせはかなりおすすめです。
