🔥CHOPPED CHICKEN RANCH SUB🔥
• Grab a bread of your choice. Today I used a sub roll but I’ve used burger and hotdog buns as well in the past.
• Meat/meats of your choice. I used Cajun turkey and rotisserie chicken as well as campfire chicken from the deli.
• vegetables I used green onions, sweet onion🧅 spinach, and a 🥕 carrot. Use whatever you want. Your grown!
• Now for the fun part. For the sauce, use what you want and chop it all up together! I used
Japanese mayo
Miracle whip
Ranch powder
Sweet chili sauce
No real measurements just listen to the sandwich gods and they’ll let you know when enough is enough for each ingredient. 💛

Okay, so you've seen my chopped chicken ranch sub, and trust me when I say it's a game-changer! If you're like me and love getting maximum flavor in every single bite, then perfecting your chopped sandwich game is a must. I often find myself cleaning out the fridge to make these, and honestly, that's part of the fun – using up what you have and making something incredible. Let's dive a bit deeper into making this masterpiece. First, the meats! The original recipe uses Cajun turkey and rotisserie chicken, but don't limit yourself. I've had amazing results with smoked turkey, honey ham, or even leftover grilled chicken. For an extra kick, try adding some crispy bacon bits – yes, bacon is a fantastic addition that really elevates the flavor profile and is perfect for a *chopped chicken bacon ranch sandwich*! Just make sure to chop all your meats finely so they blend seamlessly with the other ingredients. Next up, the veggies. My go-to's are green onions, sweet onion, spinach, and carrots for crunch and freshness. But this is where you can truly make it your own! Think about what you love: bell peppers, cucumbers, or even a few pickled jalapeños for a spicy twist. The key is to chop them all into small, uniform pieces. This ensures that every forkful (or bite, once it's in the bread!) is perfectly balanced. Now for the sauce – this is where the magic truly happens! My base is usually Japanese mayo and Miracle Whip for that creamy texture. But here's a pro tip: don't be afraid to experiment with other additions. A little bit of yum yum sauce (as mentioned in my pics!) can add a fantastic savory-sweet element. And for that ranch flavor, ranch powder is essential! I also love to add a dash of garlic powder and a drizzle of sweet chili sauce. The amount really depends on your taste, so trust your instincts and mix until it feels right. You're looking for a creamy, cohesive mixture that coats everything without being too runny. Once your meats and veggies are chopped, and your sauce is mixed, it's time to combine them all in a bowl. Get in there with your chopping tools (or two knives, or a bench scraper!) and really work it until everything is finely integrated. This is what makes a chopped chicken sandwich so special – no ingredient gets left behind! Finally, don't forget the cheese! While not always in my base recipe, adding shredded cheddar cheese (like I do sometimes, as seen in my images!) or provolone directly into the mix, or layered in your *hoagie roll*, can take it to the next level. I typically use a sturdy sub roll or hoagie roll for these because they can handle the generous filling. Just slice it open, pile in your chopped mixture, and prepare for a flavor explosion. It’s truly the best way to enjoy a sandwich, giving you that perfect bite every single time!
