It's about remembering names, recalling favorite orders, and making each customer's visit an 'express' route to a great day – delivering satisfaction in under 985 seconds, ideally! When a customer smiles and says, 'GOTCHA! my usual, perfect as always,' it’s truly rewarding. Working on the go has its unique set of challenges and rewards. There are days when I'm juggling inventory orders from a park bench, updating social media from a train, or brainstorming new menu items while waiting for my next delivery. The key is extreme organization and adaptability. I've found that having a portable setup – a reliable laptop, a hotspot, and a well-stocked thermos – is absolutely crucial. It allows me to pivot quickly, whether I'm managing the shop floor or handling administrative tasks remotely. This flexibility is what allows me to strive for that 'top position' in a way that fits my lifestyle, giving me the freedom to craft my own schedule and creative space. For any aspiring female entrepreneurs out there, my biggest advice is to embrace your unique vision. Don't be afraid to take up space and lead. There will be moments of doubt, moments where you wonder if you can really grind up enough business to succeed. But every time I perfect a new latte art design or hear a customer rave about my cold brew, I feel that surge of 'OTCHA!' – a confirmation that I'm on the right track. Building a business is a marathon, not a sprint, but every small victory counts and propels you forward. I've also learned the immense value of community and networking. Surrounding myself with other strong women in business, whether virtually or in person, has been incredibly empowering. We share tips, celebrate successes, and lift each other up.
