3 SECONDS to organize your garbage bags!
😱 No drills, no tools, Who needs this? 👇 #HomeOrganization #undersinkorganization #cabinetorganization #kitchenhacks #blackfridaysale
Okay, let's be real – who hasn't opened their under-sink cabinet only to be attacked by a wild explosion of plastic garbage bags? 🙈 For the longest time, my solution was just stuffing them in wherever they fit, which, let's be honest, wasn't really a solution at all! It was a chaotic mess that drove me nuts every time I needed a new bag. I knew there had to be a better way than just buying a fancy organizer, especially since I'm not a fan of drilling holes or using tools for every little thing. My goal was simple: organize those pesky bags without any fuss. And guess what? I found a few super easy, no-drill, no-tool methods that truly changed my kitchen game! First up, the simple folding method. This one is a classic for a reason. Instead of wadding up each bag, take a moment to fold them neatly. Start by laying the bag flat, then fold it lengthwise into a long strip. From there, you can either fold it into a small square or roll it tightly. Once you have a stack of neatly folded or rolled bags, they take up so much less space! I keep mine in a small, open-top bin right under the sink or inside a deep drawer next to my garbage can. It's surprisingly satisfying. Another fantastic trick is to reuse an old tissue box or a repurposed cereal box. Who knew everyday items could be such clever organizers? Just cut a slit in the top of the tissue box (or the side of a cereal box if you lay it horizontally), and then feed the folded or rolled garbage bags through. When you need one, just pull it out like a tissue! It keeps them contained, dust-free, and surprisingly neat. You can even decorate the box to match your kitchen decor! I actually used a pretty patterned cereal box and it looks so much better than a plastic dispenser. For those extra-large kitchen bags or even smaller grocery bags, I sometimes use a vertical bag dispenser. You can find inexpensive ones that simply hang over a cabinet door (no tools needed!) or stand freely. They're usually slim and tall, perfect for tucking away in a pantry corner or right inside a cabinet door. This keeps them off the floor and prevents that "avalanche" effect when you open the cupboard. And for anyone dealing with a truly tiny space, consider using Command hooks (again, no tools!). Stick a few on the inside of a cabinet door, and you can loop the handles of a few neatly folded bags over them. It's a great vertical storage solution that utilizes otherwise wasted space. Honestly, these little changes have made such a difference. No more digging through a mountain of plastic, no more wasted space. Just quick, easy access to a garbage bag whenever I need it. It’s amazing how a little bit of organization can bring so much peace to a busy kitchen! Give these simple hacks a try – your under-sink cabinet (and your sanity!) will thank you.
