Cute volleyball hair inspo
(Not my pics)
Okay, so as someone who spends a lot of time on the volleyball court, I totally get the struggle of trying to keep your hair out of your face while still looking cute! Finding that perfect balance between practical and stylish can be tough, right? That's why I'm always on the lookout for new volleyball hair inspo, and let me tell you, there are so many awesome volleyball hairstyles out there that actually work! My go-to is usually some form of braids because they just hold up so much better than a regular ponytail when you're diving for balls or jumping for a spike. French braids are a classic for a reason – they keep all those little flyaways tucked in. I love doing double French braids that lead into pigtails at the nape of my neck, or sometimes I'll gather them into a low ponytail for a slightly more mature look. For extra security, I'll even braid the pigtails themselves. Another super popular and effective style is the braided ponytail. You can do a single French braid starting from your crown and leading into a high or low ponytail. Or, for a really fun and secure look, try adding bubble braids to the ponytail itself! It looks super cute and keeps the tail from getting tangled. A high ponytail with a braid incorporated is fantastic for keeping your neck cool too. And for those days when you want something even more secure, a high braided bun is a lifesaver. You can start with a French braid going up the back of your head and then twist the remaining hair into a bun at the crown. It literally doesn't budge! Sometimes, I'll even do two French braids that lead into a messy bun on top of my head, which gives it a more relaxed but still secure vibe. Here are a few extra tips I've picked up to make sure your volleyball hair stays flawless through every set: Start with clean, dry hair: This helps braids grip better. Use strong hair ties: The thicker, fabric-covered ones are my favorite because they don't break or snag your hair. Bobby pins are your best friend: Keep a few extra in your bag for any rogue strands. Hair gel or spray: A little bit around the hairline and on flyaways can make a huge difference, especially if you're like me and sweat a lot! Ribbons for style and grip: Adding an orange ribbon (or your team color!) to your high ponytail or braids isn't just cute, it can also add a bit of extra grip for your hair tie. No matter if you're looking for cute hairstyles for volleyball or just practical hair for volleyball, these braided and tied-up styles are total game-changers. Don't be afraid to experiment and find what works best for your hair type and your personal style. Trust me, a good volleyball hairstyle can make you feel more confident on the court, and that definitely helps with your game!
