PIVOTBY is a new function in Excel 365 that helps summarize data in the same format as PivotTable, but uses only one formula.

💡 is suitable for people using Dynamic Array and requires the summary table to be updated automatically when the original data changes.

📌 Note: PIVOTBY still doesn't replace all PivotTable cases, but it's another tool that allows for more convenient and flexible formulas of data summarization.
