75 pounds down and here’s my 2025 weight goals
Hello friends!!! 2024 was an incredible year!! I began a fitness journey weight loss was a goal but feeling better about myself was the priority this year I want to reward myself!!! This is my rewards goals and if you make yours I’d love to hear them!!! I am currently not in the gym but will be back mid January excited to start a new workout plan!!!
Losing 75 pounds in 2024 was an incredible achievement for me, and it truly highlighted the power of celebrating every single step. As I gear up for my 2025 weight loss goals, I'm not just focusing on the numbers on the scale, but also on creating meaningful ways to acknowledge all the hard work and dedication. It's so easy to get caught up in the daily grind of a fitness journey and forget to appreciate how far you've come. That’s precisely why setting up a personalized system of rewards for progress is so crucial! I’ve started planning my own reward list for 2025, with specific items tied to different weight loss milestones. For instance, after losing my first 10lbs, I’m planning to treat myself to a new game I’ve been wanting. Hitting 20lbs? Hello, fancy new makeup! And for bigger wins, like 30lbs, I’m eyeing a cute matching set for my gym wear. The ultimate goal, perhaps after 50lbs, might even involve a new piercing or a significant luxury item I've dreamt of. These aren't just random treats; they're powerful motivators that keep me focused and excited about my journey. But it’s not just about what you choose as a reward; it’s about how you set them. When you’re crafting your own weight loss goals and rewards, try to make them non-food related. We’re working on building new, healthier habits, right? Think about experiences, self-care items, or things that enhance your new energetic lifestyle. Maybe it's a fresh yoga mat, a stylish water bottle, a relaxing massage, or even a new book. These small, thoughtful gestures can make a huge difference in keeping your spirits high and preventing burnout. Consider creating a tiered rewards system. For those initial 5-10 pound losses, perhaps it’s a new podcast subscription or a special coffee from a local cafe. For hitting 20-30 pounds, maybe a weekend getaway with a friend, a new outfit that celebrates your changing body, or a facial. And for those really big achievements, like shedding 40 or 50 pounds, dare to dream big! It could be that luxury item you've always wanted, a significant piece of jewelry, a professional photoshoot to capture your transformation, or even planning a vacation you've always dreamed of. The image I shared shows a peek at my personal list, and I'm genuinely excited for each one! Remember, this journey is ultimately about feeling better about yourself, not just a number on the scale. Keep track of your progress in a way that motivates you, whether it's journaling, taking photos, or using an app. Don't forget to celebrate those non-scale victories too – fitting into old clothes, having more energy in the gym (which I’m excited to get back to mid-January!), or simply feeling stronger and more confident. Sharing your goals with a supportive community can also make a huge difference. I'd love to hear your ideas for weight loss goal rewards!
