Which one to choose?
Oatmilk and almond milk are the same "plant milk," but the highlights are fairly different. Which one is better depends on your goal.
🥛 Oatmilk vs almond milk
What to choose? ❓
🌾 🥛 Oat Milk
* Made from oatmeal
* Taste: A little sweet, soft, mellow (closest to cow's milk)
* Higher carbohydrates → provide a lot of energy.
* Contains fiber (good for excreta and reduces cholesterol)
* Protein: Medium (but still less than cow's milk)
👉 Fits:
* People who want energy / are full for a long time
* People who want to reduce cholesterol
* Put it in coffee or cereal (tastes great)
🌰 Almond Milk
* Made of almonds
* Flavor: Scented. Gently nuts.
* Calories are much lower (especially unsweetened recipes)
* Little Carb → Fits Weight Guards
* Protein: relatively low
* Good fat (from nuts)
👉 Fits:
* Weight Loss Person / Kumbal
* Karb warden (e.g. low-carb / keto very non-strict)
* Someone who wants a light drink.
⚖️ What kind of choice is the summary?
* Wanna Be Skinny / Kum Cal → Almond Milk
* Long Wanna Be Full / Energy / Drink Yummy → Oatmilk
* General health line → Choose the most important "no sugar added" type
⚠️ Something to watch out for.
* Many brands Add added sugar → Make it not as healthy as you think
* Both proteins are less than cow's or soy's milk.
* If allergic to nuts → Avoid almond milk
Personal 🥛, Jenny used to eat oatmeal milk.
But the latter came to try almond milk, feeling more delicious.
So I've been eating almond milk all the time. When I go to the cafe, if I have almonds, I like to order a menu, a latte. The almond milk is not sweet at all. The taste is delicious, mellow, ruffled, and fragrant. 🥰
And everyone? What milk do you choose? ❓
