how i did a body recomp to “lose” belly fat 🫶

changing how your body looks is about SO much more than just cardio or lifting! i eat more calories now than i did before, i just changed my lifestyle <3

➡️ my life used to look like this:

- totally sedentary except for the gym

- processed foods every day

- mostly ate carbs (pasta)

- constantly stressed

➡️ now:

I get 7-10k steps in every day

I make movement fun

I cycle sync my workouts

I eat whole foods

I stress less

i know you’ve heard it before, but consistency is your BEST FRIEND!! even if i’m not lifting heavy or hitting the gym at all, i’m exercising 6 days out of the week (4-5 of those are gym days)

be patient with your progress and you’ll get there!

It’s about adopting a healthier lifestyle that incorporates balanced nutrition, regular physical activity, and stress management. One of the key aspects of my journey was reducing stress. I learned to prioritize mindfulness and being present in my daily life, which led to better decision-making regarding my health. Additionally, I shifted my focus to whole foods instead of processed options, particularly limiting my carb intake while increasing my protein consumption. This not only supported my workouts but also fueled my body effectively throughout the day. Regular movement is crucial. Aim for at least 7,000 to 10,000 steps daily, integrating fun activities that you enjoy so that exercise doesn’t feel like a chore. For optimal results, consider syncing your workouts with your body cycle. Keeping a consistent schedule, where you’re physically active six days a week, reinforces that commitment to your fitness journey. Remember, consistency is your best ally on this path. Moreover, prioritize your sleep and evening routine. Quality rest can dramatically affect your energy levels, mood, and overall well-being. Aiming for 7-9 hours of sleep can enhance recovery and performance, supporting your goals even further. Lastly, patience is essential. Body recomp is not a quick process, and progress can often feel slow. However, with dedication to your new lifestyle and an understanding that change takes time, you’ll gradually see results. Celebrate every small victory along the way, as these contribute to the bigger picture of your health transformation.
