For maximalism, you never really have to collect a large amount of things before displaying them, and nothing certainly ever has to match. Maximalism is more of just a mix of everything you love and enjoy and even if things don’t match, the fact that you love all the things you have will make it come together much better than trying to stick to a certain theme. Yeah, it does take so long to build it up, but it’s so worth it!!!
