Tiny AI tip I use when a project starts feeling messy:

Changing topics? Change chats.

Context windows fill up like a cup. After a while, your AI may still remember pieces of the old conversation, but the chat can get crowded with too many directions, drafts, and side quests.

Before I switch topics, I ask:

“Summarize the useful context from this chat so I can move it into a fresh chat. Include the goal, what we decided, what still needs doing, and what tone/style to keep.”

It keeps the next chat cleaner and makes the answer better.

... Read moreWhen working on AI-powered projects or using AI chat tools, one challenge I often face is the cluttered context window caused by multiple conversations blending together. This happens especially when a project evolves and new ideas or directions emerge rapidly. To maintain clarity and ensure the AI stays on target, I use a strategy of summarizing key points before changing topics. This technique involves asking the AI to succinctly recap the current conversation's useful elements—such as the project goal, decisions made, pending tasks, and the desired tone or style. Moving these summaries into a fresh chat helps create a cleaner workspace and prevents the AI from getting overwhelmed by too much unrelated information. In my experience, this method not only keeps the AI’s responses more relevant and focused but also helps me stay organized as a creator. It’s like emptying a full cup so you can fill it again with fresh ideas. The visual reminder from the image, listing words like FOCUS, CREATE, INSPIRE, and PLAN, resonates with this approach and encourages a clear mind and purposeful workflow. Additionally, this practice can be integrated easily into various AI tools or productivity apps. Over time, it becomes second nature to segment conversations, improving efficiency and output quality. If your projects start feeling messy or your AI responses become less coherent, try this summarizing technique. You’ll find it keeps your chats tidy and your ideas flowing steadily.
