National Son’s Day💙🤧

... Read moreAs a boy mom, National Son's Day isn't just another date on the calendar; it's a special reminder to pause and truly appreciate the incredible journey of raising my son. I know some celebrate it on March 4th and others on September 28th, but for me, any day is a good day to celebrate the joy he brings! My little guy truly keeps me on my toes – just like that feeling from the OCR text says, "to the one who keeps me on my toes and fills my life with so much joy!" Every day is an adventure, from tackling muddy puddles to building epic Lego castles. It's a world filled with endless energy, curious questions, and the sweetest, most unexpected hugs. Watching him grow, learn, and discover his own path is genuinely my greatest adventure. So, how do I make National Son's Day special? It doesn't have to be grand gestures. Sometimes, it's as simple as making his favorite breakfast, letting him pick the movie for family night, or spending extra time playing catch in the yard. We love to just connect, talk about his day, and just be present with each other. I try to really listen to his dreams and worries, and remind him how much he's loved and cherished. Being a boy mom has taught me so much. It's taught me patience, resilience, and how to appreciate the little things. It's about fostering kindness, strength, and independence. I often reflect on the responsibility of raising a good man, someone who is compassionate, respectful, and confident in who he is. It’s a huge privilege, and honestly, the most rewarding role I could ever ask for. I've learned to embrace the chaos, the noise, and the constant motion that comes with having a son. It's in these moments, even the challenging ones, that I see his unique spirit shine through. He inspires me to be a better person, to see the world with fresh eyes, and to never stop exploring. What does being a boy mom mean to you? If you're a boy mom too, how do you celebrate your son? Do you have special traditions or just simple ways to show your love? I'd love to hear your stories! Let's cherish these moments and celebrate the wonderful sons who fill our lives with so much light and laughter. Happy National Son's Day to all the amazing sons out there!

🍋My greatest responsibility and joy in life was my Son Tanner 🍋 Raising him was an adventure in love and who you'd give your life for and I can honestly say in this private place, He's it, 🍋the only one, except for God that I'd give my life for.🍋 I guess that could change in the future. As I get closer to the other side of this dimension. But for now, I'm gonna stick with this.
