❣️BOOM Vision Board
Creating a vision board is one of my favorite ways to set intentions and manifest my goals for the year, and going digital makes it so much easier to update and keep visible! After making my own 2024 digital vision board, I wanted to share a deeper dive into how you can create one that truly resonates with your aspirations for a peaceful life, robust self-care, and achieving those career milestones. First, let's talk about choosing your digital canvas. While the original post suggests picking a poster on Canva, I found that exploring their vast collection of digital templates can really spark creativity. Look for layouts that have spaces for different categories of your life – like career, personal growth, travel, or mind & body wellness. I even saw some templates specifically designed for self-care or travel themes, which are perfect if you want to focus on those areas. Don't be afraid to customize the colors and fonts to reflect your personal aesthetic. You're aiming for something you'll love looking at every single day! Next up, finding those perfect images. Pinterest is a treasure trove, as mentioned, but think beyond just pretty pictures. What does a "peaceful life" look like to you? Is it a serene beach, a cozy reading nook, or a meditation space? For career goals, if you're aiming for something specific like becoming a Scrum Master, look for images that represent that achievement or the lifestyle it brings. For my goals, I included images representing "moneyfesting" and a "soft life" alongside specific career aspirations. It's about finding visuals that evoke the feeling of achieving your goals. The OCR also highlighted phrases like "THAT GIRL" and "I AM strong I AM Worthy" – these are fantastic to incorporate as text overlays or as visual reminders of your desired mindset. Making your vision board intentional for 2024 goal setting is key. Instead of just random pictures, categorize your visions. For example, I have a section for "mind & body wellness" where I include images related to healthy eating and exercise, and another for "reading" with pictures of books I want to devour this year. Think about the "THE HABIT LOOP" concept – how can your vision board inspire the cues, cravings, responses, and rewards that lead to your desired habits? Regularly looking at your board can be a powerful cue to take action. If you're focusing on a "peace vision board," ensure a significant portion of your images and affirmations are dedicated to tranquility and calm. Don't forget to include specific dates or years if your goals are time-bound, like "2024" for your yearly aspirations. Finally, once your vision board is complete, make sure it's easily accessible. Set it as your desktop background, phone wallpaper, or print it out and put it somewhere you'll see it daily. The goal is consistent exposure to your dreams and intentions. I truly believe that visualizing my goals, like my personal board titled "VISION BOARD Vanessa Rene" (an example from the OCR, not my actual name, but highlighting how personalized these can be), helps me stay motivated and on track throughout the year. It’s not just a pretty collage; it’s a powerful tool for manifesting your best life.
