Pray pray pray and then listen.
Praying and talking to God without listening is like asking your friend a question and then immediately walking away to not hear their answer. Ask and you shall receive but you have to be willing to receive. I don’t always know. But God knows and he will always send me where I need to go. If I end up taking the wrong path because I didn’t listen, he won’t leave me there. He will lead me back. I love how faithful he is to us. Thank you Jesus. 🫶🏼 #fyp #jesus #bible #christiantok #bibletok
In my own experience, the practice of prayer has been much more than just speaking words into the air—it's about creating a meaningful dialogue with God. I used to think that prayer was mostly about asking for help or answers, but I’ve learned that the most profound moments often come when I quiet my mind and heart to listen. The idea that praying without listening is like asking a friend a question and then walking away really resonates with me. It reminds me that God communicates in subtle ways—through feelings, circumstances, or even gentle nudges during the day. One significant lesson I've learned is to be patient and open. Sometimes, the answers we receive are not immediate or obvious, but with trust and faith, they become clearer over time. When I felt lost or unsure of my path, my prayers became a reminder to surrender control and lean on God's wisdom rather than my own. Even when I made wrong choices, the reassurance that God would not abandon me brought comfort and courage. Reflecting on the phrase from the image "I don’t know. But He does. And there's no one I trust more," I realize how liberating it is to accept that some things are beyond my understanding. This trust has deepened my relationship with Jesus and taught me to embrace faith as a guiding force. If you’re exploring this journey, I encourage you to not only speak in prayer but also listen intently. Be willing to receive guidance in unexpected ways and trust that God’s faithfulness will lead you to where you need to be.
