My review: a heartbreaking and heart mending story. pre, during, post world war II. motherhood, friendship, chosen family, challenge, and love. this book was BEAUTIFUL. showed the beauty and need for art. i genuinely had no flaws with the book. very highly recommended if you wanna cry to be sad but then cry to be happy. deals with confronting your past in order to thrive in the future. i loved this book and genuinely think this is one of the best books i’ve ever read.
