🌸my simple monthly budget sheet

So now that holidays are coming closer to an end and it will be a new year, i don’t know about you but I’m trying to save coins!😭 but I found this method that just made it so simple for me!!

How I use this:

Let me start by saying this is going to require every day to save so we have got to be consistent

So I would pick an amount the chart and write in my calendar the amount I save that day. Now you can just go in order but lets be realistic at times I don’t have $25-30 that day so I go for real number I can do that day. I try to get larger amounts on days where I know I have it otherwise do what you can and then go for the bigger amounts.

I start checking off the amounts as the the days pass and by the time you know it, it’s the end of the month and you got extra $500!🥳

Is it hard? At first it can be, but I find it easier if I have certain goal I want for example I need extra $500 so I can catch up on things or for vacation money etc… it all can tailored to how you want it so you can be successful in this challenge.

I believe in us! Because I’m starting this in January myself! I did those for examples of how I did this in the past. It was hard before but these were a couple things I did different to help me this time around.

Tip 1: Identify "leaky buckets": These are small, frequent expenses that add up quickly, like daily coffee runs or impulse purchases. (I know I can cut back on impulse shopping😭😂)

Tip 2: Reduce dining out, streaming services, or hobbies (only if hobby isn’t making you 💵)

Tip 3: Review bank statements! Look for recurring expenses you can reduce or eliminate. I know im not the only one having apple charge for breathing!😂❤️ but yes check those statements!

Tip 4: don’t get overwhelmed, this is just a tool to help reach your goals. If daily saving isn’t for you, you can add up the week and save weekly instead! Like I said this can all be adjusted so it fits you.

I hope this helps someone, and I’m not a financial advisor y any means, im just girly tryna be smarter with her purchases and save some coins for bigger and better things just like anyone of us on here! 💖 check in with me let me know if you’ll try this method. Happy saving everyone and let me know if you’ll try this in the new year!

💵👏🏽I put in a blank chart so you can copy and use it!

... Read moreSaving money can be challenging, especially when expenses seem to accumulate quickly. To make the most of your savings plan, start by setting a realistic goal, like saving $500 in a month. Use a budgeting chart, making daily updates based on what you can afford. This method encourages consistency and adaptability. Identify small, habitual expenses—often referred to as 'leaky buckets'—such as daily coffees, snacks, or unused subscriptions. These seemingly trivial costs can deeply impact your finances over time. Aim to cut down on these minor expenses to boost your savings potential. For example, making coffee at home instead of buying it daily can free up significant funds by the month's end. Reviewing your bank statements is another vital step. This practice helps highlight recurring charges that may go unnoticed, allowing you to trim down expenses on non-essential services. It also promotes awareness of your spending habits. Finally, ensure that your savings method fits your lifestyle. If saving daily feels overwhelming, consider a weekly saving strategy instead. Tailoring the approach according to your personal circumstances will make it easier to stick to your budget. Remember, the key to successful saving is consistency, creativity in cutting unnecessary costs, and being mindful of your financial goals!
