Florida Bucket list: Airboat on the Everglades!
We went out on the Florida Everglades looking for swamp puppies! 🐊✨
It was my first time on an airboat, and that alone is worth the experience! You cruise around SO fast, gliding on top of the Everglades, and it’s exhilarating cutting through the river of grass.
It was a gorgeous morning and pretty soon we found our first gator. They like to soak up the morning sun but are definitely shy and can camouflage quickly. We kept it moving as Captain Bill scanned for more wildlife and taught us some interesting things along the way.
Overall, we saw a bunch of gators, some beautiful birds, and learned some interesting history about the Everglades and the people that live here. The ride was a ton of fun!
