Room Transformation from my Previous Post ✨
Hey all! I wanted to share my updated room from my previous post “What’s Ruining my Room”. You all were very opinionated and I implemented some of your ideas.
This room is sort of a catch-all for my computer desk, vanity, and now elliptical! It works for me. I decided to go with a coastal theme in the room, using teal/blue as my accent color. I rearranged furniture, got a new desk, new rugs, moved out the papasan chair, and added new curtains. I think it turned out great! Thanks again for your ideas.
**Note I am not seeking advice on this room. I just wanted to share how it turned out.

Transforming a room can be an exciting adventure, especially when you have a clear vision in mind. For this coastal-themed makeover, I started by choosing a color palette centered around teal and blue as accent colors. This choice not only brings a calming vibe to the room but also ties in beautifully with the coastal aesthetic. Rearranging the furniture was crucial to create a more functional workspace. I replaced the older desk with a sleek, modern one that complements the overall design. Adding new rugs and curtains brought in texture and warmth, making the room feel more inviting. Moreover, incorporating elements like more wall art and plants infused personality and life into the space. Utilizing storage baskets helped keep the area organized while retaining that stylish look. Lighting also plays an essential role; I added string lights around the room, enhancing the ambiance and drawing attention to my favorite decorative pieces. With these thoughtful changes, my room evolved into a cozy, functional area where I can work, unwind, and enjoy my interests, like using my new elliptical. Whether you’re planning a complete overhaul or just small tweaks, seeking inspiration from others can spark creativity and guide your design choices.

I love it and that color blue is beautiful 😁👍🏻
