PR haul 📦💌 as a micro influencer!!

One of my goals for 2023 was to take content creation more seriously, and start working with more brands (even if that meant accepting more gifted collaborations vs paid ones). It was a major building year- building my portfolio, building relationships with brands, and building up my skill sets when it comes to creating content.

These are a few of the brands I have worked with recently, although I worked with A LOT more throughout the year. I even got my puppy a few brand deals!!

The best advice I can give is JOIN INFLUENCER PLATFORMS. I am so mad at myself for not doing this sooner. It’s so much easier than sending a million brand/PR emails hoping for a reply! Also- have your email in your bio so that brands can easily reach out to you! 🫶🏻

Some of my favorite platforms are

- Insense (a lot of paid & gifted opportunities)

- Capssion (you can apply to 3 brands at a time and then unlock new ones once you post the ones you have been accepted to/recieved)

- Collectively

- weSponsored

Let me know if you guys want to see more content like this, and feel free to comment any questions you have about receiving PR as a micro influencer!

... Read moreLet's talk about the magic of an 'influencer haul'! For me, it's not just about receiving packages; it's a huge milestone in my content creation journey and a direct result of building awesome relationships with brands. When you search for "influencer haul," you're probably looking for inspiration, tips, or just want to see what's out there – and I'm here to spill the tea on how to make your hauls truly shine. First off, what makes a haul truly impactful? It's the story behind each item. Take, for instance, the elegant Dusa Santal room spray I recently received. It wasn't just a spray; it became a staple in my home decor content, adding a luxurious touch that my audience loved. Or that stunning UCA lingerie bodysuit – it wasn't just clothing; it was an opportunity to talk about body positivity and feeling confident, leading to a fantastic paid collaboration through Insense. Every item, from a practical Intelligent Change Productivity Planner to a fun set of Mission Craft Cocktails, tells a part of your brand story. My biggest takeaway when it comes to getting exciting hauls is to actively seek out opportunities on influencer platforms. I can't stress this enough! While sending out pitches can work, platforms like Capssion make it incredibly efficient. Through Capssion, I've landed collaborations for items like the Vanity Planet Baia makeup bag and those delicious craft cocktails. These platforms streamline the process, allowing brands to find you and vice-versa, saving you tons of time and boosting your chances of securing those coveted PR packages. Once you receive a haul, the real fun begins: content creation! Don't just unbox and forget. Plan how each item fits into your content calendar. Will the Dusa Santal spray be part of a 'cozy home vibes' reel? Will the Intelligent Change planner be featured in a 'productivity hacks' post? Think about creative ways to integrate the products naturally into your feed or stories. High-quality photos, engaging videos, and authentic reviews are key. Show your audience how you genuinely use and love these products. This not only fulfills your brand obligations but also truly showcases the value of the items, leading to more engagement and potentially more hauls in the future. Remember, an influencer haul is a testament to your growing influence and the trust brands place in you. It’s about building a portfolio, refining your skills, and consistently delivering value. Keep putting yourself out there, keep creating amazing content, and those incredible hauls will definitely come your way! What kind of haul are you dreaming of next?
