PART ONE | Of Things I’ve Experienced And Learned From Renting My 1st Apartment ! 😓
I moved into my first apartment with my long-time bestie, back in October 2023! The struggle of maintaining a $1600 apartment—that’s totally not worth $1600– is real. Our lease is coming to an end in officially 100 days, so excited! 😄
Unfortunately we have decided to go our separate ways but with our newly found experiences we are definitely going to be more satisfied during our next hunt.
I’m hoping that with some of these tips I am able to help some individuals on there journey of reality. I’m sorry, do you hear that? ᔕIᒪᗴᑎᑕᗴ... Right, no bickering parents or annoying siblings. Just you and your empty apartment. Mind you I moved out just after I turned 19, it was the best and hardest decision, but story for another time!
Here Are 5 Tips To Get You Started! 💕
1. Read past residents comments, and concerns.
2. Research the area you’re wanting to move to.
3. Tour the whole neighborhood, including your possible home for the next # of months.
4. Stainless Steel kitchen is a MUST!
- Non Porous | Rust Proof | Scratch Resistant
5. Ask about unwanted guest!
- Roaches | Spiders | Ants | etc.
