Promise I am Really Trying Here 🧍🏾‍♀️

Y’all.. I never said this would be easy, and I never said it would be a str8 shot.

But I really appreciate y’all rolling with me throughout this whole process because it really doesn’t take much for me to get discouraged. And any other time this would’ve done it for me, I would’ve just gave up.

I keep getting all these likes on old post, such nice comments and new followers. It’s motivating me to keep going and be super transparent!

So I’m back on my bully. No eating out. I am being more strict about my fasting schedule. I will not let winter break my mental this year so I’m going walking all week! Even in the snow ❄️

Thanks again lovelies see you next week 💕💕#embraceyourgreatness #noteasy #justagirl

I can relate deeply to feeling discouraged—I often find that without support and positive reinforcement, it’s easy to want to give up. But the little wins, like positive comments, likes on old posts, and new followers, are powerful reminders that I’m not alone and that transparency about struggles can inspire others too. One key strategy I’ve found effective is setting clear, achievable weekly goals that help maintain momentum. For example, my commitment to walking every day even when it’s snowy and sticking strictly to my fasting window from 8PM to 1PM each day keeps me accountable. I noticed from my recent check-ins that although I've lost about 2lbs in two weeks, staying consistent is more important than rapid results—avoiding backslides is the ultimate goal. Keeping a flexible mindset helps as well. Being kind to yourself when you’ve eaten out or slipped is important because setbacks are part of the process, not the end of it. What’s critical is acknowledging those moments and deciding intentionally to get back on track, like switching to Monday check-ins to set targeted goals for the week ahead. Mental resilience is just as crucial as physical effort. Winter has a way of encouraging hibernation, but deciding to embrace the weather and get outside daily boosts both mood and motivation. This holistic approach—balancing discipline, self-compassion, and community support—creates a sustainable path to wellness. If you’re on a similar journey, know that it’s not always straightforward or easy, but persistence and connection can power you through. Keep sharing your story, celebrate every small victory, and don’t give up on yourself, especially when the going gets tough.
