We were greeted promptly upon arrival, and the service throughout was friendly and attentive. The drinks were solid, definitely one of the highlights of the visit.
To start, we ordered the honey biscuits. They looked great but tasted more like glorified frozen biscuits with a drizzle of honey sauce—pretty underwhelming. I’d give them a 6/10.
Next up were the honey Old Bay chicken wings. The wings themselves were crispy and cooked well, but the flavor combo didn’t hit quite right. The honey was sitting at the bottom of the plate and the Old Bay was just sprinkled on top, so the flavors weren’t blended. A little disappointing in execution, but still decent—7.5/10.
We also tried the shrimp and grits. The shrimp and sausage were well-seasoned and tasty, but the grits were bland with no real flavor. They brought the dish down overall. 6/10.
One of the main reasons we came was to try the lamb chops, but we were told they’re only served during dinner after 4 PM—wish that had been more clearly advertised.
Overall, the vibe and service were good, and we’d be willing to come back and try something different on the menu. There’s definitely potential, but our first visit left room for improvement.
