After watching the Michael movie myself, I was really impressed by the storytelling and the tribute to Michael Jackson's legacy. Even though some parts felt brief and the pacing was a bit jumpy, the film's emotional impact was undeniable. It's clear the filmmakers wanted to capture the essence of MJ’s career and spirit, but fitting such an iconic story into a short runtime posed challenges. Like many others, I also noticed the discussions online where viewers debated the film's Rotten Tomatoes score. Some questioned the critics' reviews compared to the fans' overwhelmingly positive reactions. I believe this film resonates on a personal level with MJ enthusiasts because it connects to his music, performances, and personal struggles. What stood out most to me was the portrayal of key figures like Diana Ross, and the inclusion of rare behind-the-scenes moments which added depth. This approach gave me a fresh appreciation for the influences and relationships that shaped Michael Jackson’s life. Overall, I’m hopeful for a sequel or extended edition that might address some pacing issues and dive deeper into Michael’s story. For fans longing to relive MJ’s magic, this film is a must-watch and sparks valuable conversations about his impact on music and culture.
