My Home Sunday Night Before The School Week 🫶

It’s been a long weekend. We had 4 birthday parties, made cookies, hot chocolate, did 5 loads of laundry, got everyone bathed and believe it or not after it sat for the day I even folded all 5 loads 🤦🏼‍♀️

I believe Sundays are for rest and relaxation, we can add another R too and say it’s also for rejuvenation. I like simple Sundays before the school week. This, to be sure the kids don’t have a morning drag as we all wake up early to be out of the house by 7.

We eat dinner a little earlier on Sundays, we shower earlier, and I like to try and have a family moment before the last hour of playtime before bed. Sometimes we choose a game, sometimes we just hangout around the table and just talk.

Once everyone is calming down in bed, I get my time. I’m a night cap kinda lady. I had half of the hot coco my daughter didn’t drink and once I’ve got everyone in bed, I made myself a Jameson Egg Nog to enjoy by the fire🔥

Before I sit down I make sure the table is clear, backpacks and jackets are located for the morning, and dishes are done.. or at least in the dishwasher 😅

It’s the little victories before your week starts and a happy family is the best trophy ❤️
