For anyone new to the hype or wondering where to start, the Empyrean series kicks off with 'Fourth Wing', followed by 'Iron Flame', and then 'Onyx Storm'. Each book builds on an incredible world of formidable dragon riders, intense training, high stakes, and sizzling romance. It's the kind of series that keeps you up all night, turning pages, desperate to know what happens next. The world-building is so immersive, and the characters are just unforgettable. I honestly can't recommend it enough if you're into fantasy with a strong, passionate romantic plotline. It's no wonder these books fly off the shelves! While I didn't get my hands on 'Onyx Storm' this time, I still had a fantastic time browsing through all the new releases and old favorites. I even picked up 'Quicksilver' by Callie Hart, which I'm literally just a few pages into, and it's already drawing me in with its intriguing premise. And 'When the Moon Hatched' by Sarah A. Parker is definitely on my radar for my next read – the dark, ethereal cover alone is enchanting and promises a captivating story. Oh, and speaking of amazing series that keep you hooked, 'The Serpent & The Wings of Night' by Carissa Broadbent? Loved it! Truly can't wait for the third book in that series either.
