My top 6️⃣ tips when traveling with an infant!

SWIPE ➡️ to find out things you probably didn’t know when traveling with an infant!

I’ve been getting asked a lot about how it was traveling with my infant for the first time and it was definitely an experience! I didn’t know about the boarding last but it came in clutch. If your baby is anything like mine then your baby doesn’t like to sit still for too long. After boarding last we weren’t sitting for long waiting to take off and my baby wasn’t agitated and takeoff was smooth for us. Getting to the airport I made the mistake of not getting there early enough, we were literally rushing to catch the flight. It’s not much going through TSA but anything can happen and it is a lot of stuff you’ll have with you as far as a car seat and stroller ( if you choose to carry it through the airport) you’d want to make sure you have room for any mistakes traveling for your first time with an infant‼️

If you have any other questions drop them down in the comments. I hope this helps🥰✈️

Firstly, always aim to arrive at the airport at least 2-3 hours before your flight. This extra time will make room for any unexpected incidents, especially when navigating TSA with all the baby gear, from car seats to strollers. Another key to smoother travels is boarding the plane last. This strategy minimizes time spent on the plane prior to takeoff, allowing your baby to remain calm while waiting to board. Opting for an aisle seat can also enhance your experience, as it provides easy access for multiple movements and needs without disturbing other passengers. Consider investing in noise cancellation headphones for your baby to help them adjust to the auditory changes during takeoff and landing. For additional comfort, feed your baby during these critical times to ease ear pressure. Having entertainment on hand is crucial—download some cartoons or select toys that keep noise to a minimum to keep your little one occupied throughout the journey. Lastly, a baby carrier can be an invaluable tool, keeping your hands free for other travel essentials while ensuring your baby is secure and close to you. By preparing adequately and employing these tactics, you can transform a potentially stressful situation into a more manageable and enjoyable adventure for both you and your infant.
