Friendsgiving Dishes🍽️
Please, I promise they taste better than these pictures make them look😭
I’m going to a friends giving today and here’s what I made last night to bring🙈
For dessert: BLONDIES
these are kinda like the vanilla version of brownies. I had a friend in high school make these for the class and I instantly fell in love with them. She made them for my birthday, and then when we graduated she gave me the recipe🥹 10000000/10, pls try them! They are tricky to perfect and she says it’s best to use a clear/glass dish. Mine came out a little underdone this time because I used a smaller dish but, as you can see, I made sure they were still yummy 🤤
For a side: DEVILED EGGS
I’ve kinda been craving these and hardly anyone was bring a side, so I decided to go with this simple dish. I’ve never made these before and found a recipe in Pinterest to follow. I made two batches, the first my yolks were a little over cooked imo (I boiled for about 10 mins then let them sit to cook for another 10) the second yolks came out better (boiled for about 9, let sit off heat for maybe 3-5 and the cooled in an ice bath). They’re not my grandpas deviled eggs, but they’ll do😊
I still have another friends giving to attend + thanksgiving, so what’s your favorite dish to bring?
Friendsgiving provides a great opportunity to gather with loved ones and celebrate gratitude through delicious food. If you're looking for inspiration on what to bring, consider these classic favorites: **Blondies**: These delightful vanilla treats are a crowd-pleaser! To make them, simply combine 1 package of yellow cake mix, 1/2 cup melted butter, 4 large eggs, 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, 4 cups powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Bake in a glass dish for a golden, chewy texture. **Deviled Eggs**: A staple on any gathering table! Start with 9 boiled eggs; cook them for about 9 minutes and immediately place them in an ice bath. Once cooled, cut in half, remove yolks, and mash with 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper to taste. Spoon the creamy mixture back into the egg whites and sprinkle with paprika before serving. Both dishes are easy to prepare, making them perfect for your Friendsgiving celebration. What will you be bringing to the table this year?
