1 Day in DC 🏙️
When my friend came to Annapolis, MD to visit me I of course had to take them to DC!
They were only here for a weekend so we only spent one day in Dc, but here’s what we did :D
Pennsylvania Dutch Farmer's Market we grabbed breakfast before we left because the pretzel dogs, donuts and lemonade are to die for!! Everything is made right there in front of you and you can definitely taste the freshness.
After breakfast we drove to a lot to park our car so we could take the train into D.C. We don’t have this kind of public transportation in Texas so this was new for them!
In D.C. we went to a couple museums because that’s pretty much a must when you go to DC for the first time! We went to Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum
After the museums we went to The Wharf DC and had a snack while we looked out at the water. It was a really nice spot to chill out for a bit!
Once we felt re-energized we tried to take an Uber to Georgetown.. but after our Uber missed 7 turns we decided to get OUT of the Uber at a red light😅 we ended up getting out near a station so we took a train the rest of the way.
We were planning on coming back to hit the bars but we were sooo tired we stayed in town, had dinner and ended up going to a bar in Annapolis and staying out until 2😂
