🚢Outfits from my cruise

I realize that I 1) didn’t take pictures of many of my outfits, and 2) didn’t get good pictures of the ones I did take pictures of.. which is a shame because I spent forever picking them out😂

But here’s what I did get pics of📸

☀️ white button up & shirts: I thrifted this white button up & I’ve had these shorts FOREVER, though I think they’re from tj maxx?

🌊 lemon8 merch! I brought my tote bag & keychain. I issued my tote bag for the gym and I used the key chain as my pass holder! It was really convenient because it just hung on my wrist(:

🌴floral dress: this was a hand me down. It’s really flattering and I love it!

☀️aerie lace top, target swim suit, hand me down shorts, black nike hat. I bought this lace top on clearance and never could figure out how to style it.. I saw this look on Pinterest and was so excited to finally wear the lace top!

🌊yellow dress from target: I love this dress!! Im really short so it’s supposed to come up a little higher, but I still love the way it looks.

🌴 aerie brallete & tennis skirt: this is such an easy fit to throw on + the shorts attached to the skirt served me well with all the wind!

☀️ set from Aeropostale: I got this set a few years ago but haven’t had the chance to wear it much, so I was very glad when I knew I’d be going to a bunch of beaches.

🌊 crochet Hollister dress: im obsessed with this dressssd and so bummed I didn’t get a better pic😭 I can’t wait to wear it again just so I can get a better picture, lol.

I had so many more outfits, but I was too busy for pictures, so these will have to do. I will try to be better next time bc there will deff be a next time!☀️🌊🌴

... Read moreAfter sharing my recent cruise outfits, I realized how much thought goes into packing for a trip like this! It's not just about looking good, but also about being comfortable and prepared for every activity. If you're wondering how to nail your cruise wardrobe, here are some of my top tips and more ideas to help you pack like a pro. When I start packing for a cruise, my first thought is always versatility. Space is limited, so I look for pieces that can be dressed up or down, or mixed and matched with other items. For instance, a simple white button-up, like the thrifted one I wore, is a lifesaver! It can be a cover-up, a light jacket, or even part of a casual dinner outfit. Think about items that can serve multiple purposes and can easily transition from day to night. For daytime explorations on the ship or casual shore excursions, comfort is key. Think breathable shorts, cute graphic tees, or light sundresses. My Aerie bralette and tennis skirt combo was perfect for staying active and dealing with breezy decks. Don't forget your swimwear! A great swimsuit from Target, perhaps, paired with a stylish cover-up or a flowy maxi dress, will take you from the pool to lunch effortlessly. You'll want to be ready for anything, from lounging by the deck to exploring port cities. Cruise evenings often call for a little more polish. While some cruises have formal nights, many just require 'smart casual.' A pretty floral dress or a versatile yellow dress from Target can be perfect. If you're aiming for something a bit dressier, a set from Aeropostale (like my comfy one) can be elevated with accessories, or a classic Hollister crochet dress can feel effortlessly chic. I adore my crochet dress and find it so easy to style for evening strolls or casual dinners. Depending on your destination, shore excursions can vary wildly. Pack comfy walking shoes if you're exploring ruins, or water shoes if you're hitting the beach. A light backpack or a Lemon8 tote bag (super handy for me!) is also a must for carrying essentials like water, sunscreen, and your phone. It's always a good idea to check the itinerary beforehand to anticipate specific activity needs. Even if you're not into full-on gowns, having one dressier option like a cocktail dress or a smart jumpsuit might be worth it, just in case you decide to splurge on a fancy dinner or attend a captain's gala. It's always better to be slightly overprepared! Don't underestimate the power of accessories! A stylish hat, sunglasses, and comfortable sandals are non-negotiable. I always make sure to pack a versatile pair of sneakers too, especially for gym days or active excursions. And a light layer, like that Aerie lace top I struggled to style but finally mastered on my cruise, can add a touch of flair to a simple tank or dress. Consider thrifting or borrowing! Many of my favorite cruise pieces, like that white button-up or a hand-me-down Abercrombie dress, were either second-hand or given to me. It's a great way to find unique items without breaking the bank, and it's good for the planet too. You don't need a whole new wardrobe for every trip! Ultimately, packing for a cruise should be fun and stress-free. Focus on comfort, versatility, and pieces that make you feel great. With a little planning and these extra ideas, you'll be ready to sail in style!
