Beach Bach 🏖️

My Bach was a blast! We stayed at my apartment to save some $$

The first day I wanted to do a sunset picnic but it was rainy, so instead we went to McGuire's Irish Pub. Then we wanted to go to florabama but my sister wasn’t able to get in after 10 because she’s not 21.. and we got there at like 10:10 😂 so we just went back to my apartment, and we were all so tired we didn’t mind!

The next day we woke up and had brunch at Ruby Slipper, then we met the boys (we had a joint Bach) at The 5 Barrel for bottomless mimosas! When that ended we went to a coffee food truck and then the beach!

When we got back to the apt all my bridesmaids tried on their dresses and a little later the guys showed up and we played the drinking board game that I made! Then we went to Flora-Bama and made it in time!

The next day we were all feeling pretty unwell 🥴 but we had a boat rental so we did that then went back to the coffee food truck, Buzzed Brew Coffee, and then back to the apt to change for dinner! We went to Flounder's Chowder House for dinner and then went back to the apt to chill for the rest of the night.

I am so grateful for all of my friends, I had the best time!💗✨

... Read morePlanning a bachelorette party for a group, especially a beach getaway, can be so much fun but also a bit of a challenge! After my own amazing 'Beach Bach' in Pensacola, I wanted to share some tips I learned to make sure your group bachelorette party is just as epic and stress-free. It’s all about creating unforgettable memories for the bride with her closest friends, and trust me, the details make all the difference! First off, communication is key when you’re planning for a group. Before anything else, get a feel for everyone’s budget and preferences. Not everyone can splurge, and that's perfectly okay! We actually saved a lot by renting an apartment instead of multiple hotel rooms, which was a game-changer for our Pensacola trip. It gave us a central hub to relax, get ready, and even host our own fun activities, like the drinking board game I made! This approach really helped us keep costs down while maximizing our time together. Next, let’s talk about crafting the perfect itinerary. You want a balance of planned activities and free time. Our original plan for a sunset picnic got rained out, but we quickly pivoted to McGuire's Irish Pub, which turned out to be a blast. That flexibility is so important for a group! Don't forget to sprinkle in some local flavor. Brunch at Ruby Slipper and bottomless mimosas at The 5 Barrel were definite highlights for our group. And for a truly unique experience, a boat day, perhaps around a place like Crab Island, is absolutely essential for a beach bach! The 'Last Sail Before the Veil' theme from our itinerary really set the tone. Consider unique group activities that aren't just about going out. While hitting spots like Flora-Bama is iconic, some of our favorite moments were back at the apartment. We had 'BRIDE' balloons and decorations, which instantly made the space feel festive. Playing a personalized drinking game or just having everyone try on their bridesmaid dresses together were simple, yet memorable, group bonding experiences. These are the moments that truly bring everyone closer and make the bride feel special. One practical lesson we learned was about age restrictions and logistics. My sister couldn’t get into Flora-Bama after 10 PM because she wasn't 21, which was a bit of a bummer initially. Always double-check age requirements for bars or venues if you have a mixed-age group. Having backup plans or knowing places that accommodate everyone can save some hassle. Using a coffee food truck like Buzzed Brew Coffee was a great way to re-energize the group after a late night or before a boat day. Ultimately, a successful bachelorette party for a group isn't about perfection; it's about the shared laughter, the silly moments, and celebrating the bride-to-be. With a little thoughtful planning, a flexible attitude, and an eye for budget-friendly fun, your group can have an unforgettable beach bach experience, just like my friends and I did in Pensacola!
