TEXAS ROADTRIP🛣️
I went back home for a few days a couple weeks ago, and this is what I was able to squeeze into my schedule!
We got into town around 10:30PM and the first place we wanted to stop at was H-E-B for something quick to eat! + we just really miss H-E-B. Never know how good you got it til it’s gone😪
The next day I went to Black Rock Coffee Bar to catch up with my bestie. After she left I hung around to read a little. Black Rock is one of my favorite coffee shops, so if you ever get the chance check it out! My go to drink is a blondie, and sometimes I sub the milk for chocolate milk!! Afterwards I went to visit with my mom and doggo 💗
Then, my husband and I went to The Woodlands Mall for lunch and got Chinese. We stopped at Aerie and a few other stores before we had to leave to meet up with his sister and mom for dinner.
The next day we went to 2nd & Charles for their Penny - A - Page sale! So lucky that this was going on when we were in town, I think I got 6 or 7 books!
Finally, (the reason we came to town) we went to my brother & sister in laws baby shower!! The theme was lemons & lavender🍋💜
This was such a good visit back home and I hope it’s not too long before I can visit again!

After my recent quick trip back to Texas, I realized how much I miss the unique charm our state offers! Finding a comfortable, inviting coffee shop is essential for any road trip. Speaking of unique finds, my visit to 2nd & Charles for their "penny-a-page" sale was a treasure hunt! Places like this are perfect for discovering quirky souvenirs, vintage books, or even that graphic novel you've been searching for. It's these unexpected detours that often make a road trip truly memorable, adding character beyond just the main attractions. If you're looking for fun weekend getaways in Texas, consider what truly interests you. Are you a foodie? Texas barbecue and Tex-Mex trails are legendary. Love the outdoors? My trip also included a very sweet lemon and lavender themed baby shower, which reminded me that sometimes the best moments are just connecting with loved ones.
