These bars don’t play fair 😈 Layers of gooey chocolate chip cookie dough, Oreo crunch, and silky cheesecake make this the ultimate guilty pleasure. One bite and you’ll understand why they’ve got such a scandalous name 😏

Ingredients

• 1 pkg. (16 oz) chocolate chip cookie dough

• 16 Oreo cookies

• 16 oz. cream cheese, softened

• 1/2 cup sugar

• 2 large eggs

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°. Line a 9x13 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving over hang for easy removal.

2️⃣ Press the chocolate chip cookie dough evenly into the bottom of the baking dish. Place Oreos in a single layer on top of cookie dough, pressing gown slightly.

3️⃣ In a large mixing bowel, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and creamy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.

4️⃣ Pour the cream cheese mixture over the Oreos in the baking dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.

5️⃣ Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.

6️⃣ Remove from oven, let cool completely. Once cooled place in the fridge for minimum 2 hours until firm.

📝 Note

💡 Warm them up for 10 seconds — that gooey, melty middle hits different 💫

💡 Drizzle with caramel or fudge for an extra naughty finish 🍫

... Read moreOkay, so let's talk about these 'slutty' cheesecake bars. The name might raise an eyebrow, but trust me, after one bite, you'll understand why! It's all about the irresistible combination of layers – a little bit of everything indulgent, making them utterly decadent and hard to resist. When I first heard about them, I was intrigued, and now they're a staple whenever I need a crowd-pleasing dessert that feels a little extra special. One of the things I love about this recipe is how deceptively easy it is to achieve those beautiful, distinct layers. Seriously, don't be intimidated! I've experimented a bit, and here are a few extra tips I've picked up. For the chocolate chip cookie dough base, make sure you press it down really firmly and evenly into your parchment paper-lined baking pan. This helps create a solid foundation so your bars don't crumble when cut. And for the Oreos – don't skip the step of pressing them down slightly. It ensures they're nestled securely between the cookie dough and the creamy cheesecake layer. Speaking of the cheesecake layer, getting that smooth, lump-free mixture is key. Make sure your cream cheese is truly softened to room temperature. This makes beating it with the sugar so much easier and prevents any pesky lumps. And when you add the eggs and vanilla extract, resist the urge to overmix! Just combine until smooth. Overmixing can incorporate too much air, leading to cracks in your cheesecake, which, while still delicious, isn't as pretty. After baking, the waiting game is the hardest part! Letting them cool completely on the counter, then chilling them in the fridge for at least two hours (I usually do four or even overnight) is crucial for the bars to set properly. This is when those distinct layers firm up beautifully, making them much easier to slice into neat squares. I learned this the hard way once, trying to cut them too soon – melted mess! So, patience is definitely a virtue here. Want to take these 'slutty' cheesecake bars to the next level? I always recommend those little notes in the original recipe: warming them up for 10 seconds before serving really does make that middle gooey and delightful. And a drizzle of warm caramel or hot fudge? Absolute game-changer! You could also try adding mini chocolate chips or chopped nuts to the cookie dough layer for extra texture, or even swapping out classic Oreo cookies for golden Oreos or another favorite sandwich cookie if you're feeling adventurous. Some people even like to add a touch of almond extract to the cheesecake for a different flavor profile. Just remember, these bars are all about indulgence, so don't hold back on the fun! These bars are always a huge hit at potlucks and parties. They look impressive but are surprisingly simple to make, and everyone always asks for the recipe. They're definitely a treat that lives up to its bold name!
