🥩Garlic Butter Steak Bites & Crispy Potatoes(AF)

If you need an easy dinner that feels a little fancy but takes almost no effort, this one is a favorite in our house. Crispy seasoned potatoes topped with juicy steak bites and finished with a simple garlic butter… it’s seriously so good.

And the best part? The air fryer does most of the work.

✨️Ingredients

• 3 large potatoes, peeled and diced

• 1 tbsp olive oil (for potatoes)

• ½ tsp salt

• ½ tsp black pepper

• 1 tsp garlic powder

• 1 tsp paprika

• 1 tsp dried parsley

• 2 strip steaks (about 10 oz each), cut into 1-inch cubes

• 1 tbsp olive oil (for steak)

• ½ tsp salt

• ½ tsp black pepper

• ½ tsp garlic powder

• 1 tsp steak seasoning (I use Kinders)

• 4 tbsp butter

• 1 tbsp minced garlic

• 1 tsp dried parsley

🗒Instructions

1️⃣ Wash, peel, and dice the potatoes into small bite-size cubes. Toss them in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and parsley.

2️⃣ Place potatoes in the air fryer and cook at 400°F for 18–20 minutes, shaking the basket a couple times while they cook, until crispy.

3️⃣ While the potatoes cook, cut the steak into 1-inch cubes. Toss them with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and steak seasoning.

4️⃣ Once the potatoes are finished, set them aside. Add the steak bites to the air fryer and cook at 400°F for about 6–7 minutes, depending on how done you like them.

5️⃣ In a small pan, melt the butter over low heat and stir in the minced garlic and parsley. Let it cook gently for about 1 minute until fragrant.

6️⃣ Pour the garlic butter over the steak bites and serve them over the crispy potatoes.

📝 Note

💡 Cut the potatoes small so they get extra crispy in the air fryer.

💡 Don’t overcrowd the steak bites — cook in batches if needed.

💡 This is amazing topped with shredded parmesan or a little sour cream.

Enjoy, love! 🩵

... Read moreI’ve tried many steak and potato recipes, but nothing beats the simplicity and flavor of these garlic butter steak bites paired with crispy potatoes made in the air fryer. One trick I learned is to dice the potatoes into fairly small pieces—this maximizes crispiness and reduces cooking time. Tossing the potatoes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, and parsley adds a lovely depth of flavor that complements the juicy steak bites. Cooking the steak cubes separately in the air fryer ensures they get perfectly seared without overcrowding, which is key to maintaining their tenderness. I like to use a high-quality steak seasoning along with a little garlic powder for that extra savory boost. The quick garlic butter sauce made with real butter, minced garlic, and dried parsley brings everything together with a rich, aromatic finish. For added indulgence, sprinkling shredded parmesan cheese over the potatoes just before serving adds a delightful salty touch. Alternatively, a dollop of sour cream or a sprinkle of fresh herbs like chives or thyme can elevate the dish further. Using an air fryer is a game changer—it speeds up the cooking process and produces crispy potatoes with minimal oil, making this recipe both fast and healthier. Overall, this dish is perfect for busy weeknights when you want something a bit fancier without the hassle. It’s also versatile enough to customize with your favorite seasonings or dipping sauces. Next time I make it, I’m thinking of adding some roasted garlic or caramelized onions to the steak for even more flavor complexity. Cooking with this method not only saves time but guarantees a restaurant-quality meal at home, which is always a win in my book.
