GOD IS YOUR PEACE | BIKE RIDING
Riding my bike has been a new form of cardio I decided to take on. I didn’t care for it at first I decided to chance it up a little bit. Now my morning rides are always so peaceful. I now take God along for the ride by playing gospel music and listening closely to hear his voice by allowing Him to tell me which way to turn while I’m riding, and I actually hear his voice everytime 🤗. I love my rides now ❤️
My journey finding peace on my bike started unexpectedly. What began as a new cardio routine has truly transformed into a sacred time for reflection and connection. It's incredible how listening to the right music can deepen this experience. Beyond just listening to gospel, I've found that curating a special playlist for my rides enhances the spiritual connection. Sometimes it's instrumental worship that allows my mind to truly wander and listen, and other times it's powerful praise songs that fill me with energy and gratitude. The key is to choose music that resonates with your soul, something that helps you feel that God is love and God is peace. It's not just about the beats; it's about the message and the feeling it evokes, turning a simple ride into a moving prayer. I've even started experimenting with different genres, finding that certain ambient or classical pieces can also create a wonderfully meditative atmosphere, perfect for those moments when I'm truly striving to hear that inner voice or simply bask in the tranquility of nature. And it's not just the spiritual benefits that have surprised me. While my main focus was finding inner peace, I've noticed so many other positive changes. Cycling is often celebrated for its fantastic physical health benefits – from boosting cardiovascular health and strengthening muscles to improving stamina. For anyone, including men, it's a low-impact way to stay active and manage weight. Regular cycling can significantly improve heart health, reduce the risk of chronic diseases, and even boost your immune system. But for me, the mental and emotional perks have been equally profound. Those moments cycling, especially in the quiet morning, have been powerful stress-relievers. It’s a time to clear my head, breathe fresh air, and just *be*. It's a moving meditation, really. The rhythm of pedaling and the gentle challenge of the ride often help me work through thoughts or simply let them go, leaving me feeling refreshed and centered. There's a unique sense of freedom that comes with being on a bike, feeling the breeze, and seeing the world from a different perspective. It truly reminds me that happiness is often found in the simplest of moments, and that sometimes all you need is a change of scenery and a clear mind. As some lovely cycling quotes often say, 'Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.' And for me, moving forward on my bike, with my spirit uplifted, helps me maintain not just physical balance, but spiritual and emotional balance too. If you're looking for an activity that offers both physical well-being and a profound sense of inner calm, I wholeheartedly recommend giving bike riding a try. You might just discover your own sacred space on two wheels, where you can truly feel that peace is God and that divine love surrounds you with every pedal stroke. It’s an accessible way to integrate mindfulness into your daily routine, proving that exercise can truly nourish both body and soul.
Yes Amen God is almighty ❤️
